It's easy to see why the Celtics are currently leading the Lakers 54-48 at halftime of Game 2: Ray Allen and Rasheed Wallace. Allen is on another planet shooting wise. He's scored 27 points in just the first half on 7 of 8 shooting. Rasheed Wallace has also played a key part in this game as he's grabbed 6 rebounds and the Celtics have +15 net points while he is on the court. The Celtics have addressed the rebounding issues they had last game but LA is not out of the mix by a long shot. Ray Allen's stellar play so far has masked some of the issues the Celtics have had so far in Game 2. The Lakers were dominated the entire first half until the final 2 minutes of where they were able to cut the deficit down to just 6 points. The Lakers are still in the hunt and the Celtics can't get lazy like they have been if they want to take a 1-1 series back to Boston for three games. They need a big second half from Kevin Garnett if they want to win this game, Gasol is still beasting down low in the paint.
